BMI CalculatorHere's an Easy Way to work out your Body Mass Index
Here's the sum that is behind any BMI calculator to work out body mass index. Just follow these three steps: 1. Take your height in metres (e.g. 1.68) and multiply the figure by itself (e.g. 1.68 x 1.68 = 2.82) 2. Measure your weight in kilograms (e.g. 65 kg) 3. Divide the weight by the height squared (the answer to Q1) (e.g. 65/2.82 = 23) Here's another example: You might be 1.6 m (5ft 3in) tall and weigh 75 kg (165lbs or 11st 11lb). The equation for this is: 1.6 x 1.6 = 2.56. BMI would be 75 divided by 2.56 = 29.3
